Court orders inquiry into Soha Ali Khan gun licence case

NEW DELHI: A Gurgaon court on Thursday ordered an inquiry into Soha Ali Khan illegal gun licence case. The court has ordered an inquiry against Haryana police for concealing facts.

Soha Ali Khan’s gun was allegedly used by her father — former cricketer Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi to kill a blackbuck in June 2005 in Haryana’s Jhajjar district. Soha Ali Khan is accused of obtaining a gun license despite being under-age at the time.

According to official records, Soha Ali Khan obtained an arms license for her POINT 22 bore rifle in November 1996, but she was not even 21 then, which is the legal age for obtaining a gun license.
