3 AR men killed, claim CorCom, ULFA-I

Imphal, January 22 2017: The Coordination Committee (CorCom) of RPF, PREPAK, UNLF and ULFA-I have claimed that three Indian military personnel were killed and three weapons confiscated.

According to a joint statement issued by CorCom JMC chairman MM Ngouba and ULFA-Independent vice-chairman cum CoAS Maj Gen Paresh Asom, a combined team of CorCom and ULFA-I undertook a joint military operation code named Barak against 13 Assam Rifles at
Jagun-Jairampur of Warabasti, Tinsukia, Assam this morning.

Three AR personnel were killed in the attack while two or three other personnel were injured and two AK rifles and one INSAS rifle were also
confiscated.

MM Ngouba and Maj Gen Paresh Asom have conveyed gratitude to the joint team which attacked the Indian military forces for their act of bravado, Commander of Joint Tactical Operations Centre (JTOC) for the successful operation, fraternal organisations of WESEA and local people for their support.
