Tripura TSR jawan suicide case: 3 jawans suspended following ‘Triple Murder’ case

Three TSR Jawans were on Wednesday suspended in the ‘Triple Murder’ case of TSR battalion Jawan Manik Ghosh (48), who gunned down his wife Ratna Ghosh (29) and his two children Dipraj (11) and Hritika (2) with his service rifle. This incident which shocked the entire state took place at Rabindra Nagar. The incident raised many questions as to how was Manik Ghosh allowed to take his service rifle home which the TSR Jawans are not allowed to do so.

D.G.P., A.K. Shukla, while addressing the media at Police Headquarters said, ” We are determined to investigate this case with logical conclusions and the Chief Minister himself has taken keen interest in the proceedings of this case”.
It is suspected that it was due to the negligence of the three suspended TSR Jawans that Manik Ghosh could bring his service rifle home which was supposedly later used by him to kill his wife and two children and then kill himself by suicide.
