Arms licenses of BSP leader, sons, suspended

Varanasi, June 10 Thirteen days after a Dalit auto-driver cum caterer was killed in firing by BSP national secretary, Ram Raksha Pal and supporters, the Varanasi district administration on Tuesday suspended six arms licenses issued to Pal and his two sons. Pal was arrested with son Krishna Bahadur Ranjan and five supporters on May 29 for gunning down Bhagwandas, on the night of May 28.


The move came following the police report which recommended for their suspension, said Varanasi DM Ajay Kumar Upadhayaya. He said:
