A Legal Aid Clinic was first inaugurated at the place where Phubala JB School existed earlier, under Moirang AC.
District Session Judge Bishnupur and Chairman of District Legal Services Authority Bishnupur, Ch Brajachand Singh, Thinungei Zilla Parishad Member, O Joychandra Singh, Phubala Gram Panchayat Pradhan, N Ranjit Singh attended the inauguration event as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively .
Various resource persons also elaborated on the details of Legal Aid Clinic, its uses and benefits etc .
The District Level Judge, then inaugurated the second the Legal Aid Clinic at Ibudhou Chothe Thangmai Pakhangba community hall, Peace Land, under Iningthoukhong Ward number 2 .
Ch Brajachand, Aimol village chief Poker, Peaceland area secretary Boven Singh and secretary of Meira Paibi, Memma Devi attended the event as the presidium members while Advocate L Prameshwori and Th Suchilkumar Singh spoke as the resource persons .
Legal Aid Clinics were also inaugurated at Nambol Leimapokpam and Nambol Phoijing, under Nambol Constituency .
Speaking to media persons, District and Session Judge Ch Brajachand Singh said that the Legal Aid Clinics will ease the inconveniences faced by the people when trying to approach a Court regarding a case.
